Rich with black currant, plum, crushed rocks, and cigar box, underscored by dried herbs and subtle spice. On the palate, flavors of blackberry compote, licorice, and pencil shavings are framed by finely integrated tannins and a persistent, savory finish. This is a wine that balances rusticity and refinement.
Soft, medium-bodied, with good length and depth, it is a perfect Bordeaux (or even the ubiquitously fashionable Merlot!) for everyday drinking. 70% Merlot, & 30% Malbec.
