Highly recommended, from Loire Valley, France. Thomas’s Sancerre is a blend of 3 different terroirs, giving it great texture and amply minerality. The wine displays an exotic nose with a touch of smoke and
licorice. On the palate, peach and watermelon dominate with citrus zest and chalk notes. A lovely Sauvignon Blanc!

About Domaine Michel Thomas: In the Egrots - a small hamlet of Sury en Vaux, about 4 kilometers from Sancerre - Michel and Laurent Thomas farm 17 hectares. In 1970 they took over the family estate, which was founded by Michel’s father in 1946. Their vineyards feature three different types of soil (clay, limestone, & sedimentary rock).
The wine is 100% Aligote grapes, the second white grape of Burgundy. It is entirely vinified in stainless steel and aged on its fine lees without any oak to preserve its natural freshness and texture. A must try wine!
