The name Ruvei is the combination of two distinct words which, in the local dialect, mean old (vei) and roots (ru), referring to the average age of the vines. The grapes come from calcareous and clayey vineyards located in the Alba area, able to ensure the wine has an excellent structure providing it with a vigorous yet balanced personality.
Minimum 85% Barbera, Up to 15% Nebbiolo. Aged in traditional large oak barrels, it reaches its peak between 2 and 6 years of age.
